July 2012 Training Schedule
Remember these are just guidelines... not set in stone.
Most of you should be running 3-4 times week at this point. If you are
a strong JV or Varsity runner, you should be running 5-6 times a week.
And even if you can only get 15-20 minutes of running in, that's OK!
It's more important that you train your body to think of running as part
of your daily routine; pretty soon you will crave exercise and feel
"off" when you don't get a run in. That's a good sign that you are
making the transition from "jogger" to "runner". I only had time to get
18 minutes in this morning, but I ran it hard and I felt great
afterward... ready to attack the day!
