- "A" boys had the privilege of running with the new American Record Holder in the 2000 meter steeplechase for 60+ year olds, Dave Taylor of Corvallis, Oregon. (His time: 7:21)
- DK's group hammered the run and the "tree frosh" proved strong enough to move up to the "B" group.
- Kevin introduced the camp to the wonders of Pirateer! Aaarrrggghhh!
- Doug had a slow start in Hearts... here fishy, fishy...
