Panthers at NCS

Panther Pride was well on display at Hayward High School yesterday at the North Coast Section Cross Country Championships. One only had to hear the roaring ovation at the awards session from our Orange and Black Backers. And why the roaring ovation?

MICHEAL TOMASI IS THE NORTH COAST SECTION DIVISION I CHAMPION.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, our own silent wonder Michael Tomasi not only won the DI championship, he destryoed the competition. After a mile and 3/4 (Harry and Ron would love that number) Michael decided he was done with running with the pack and took off and said come catch me. Well they couldn't catch him. The second place runner from DeLaSalle, senior Evan Molineaux, made a move on Michael coming down the hill to the finish but fell well short when Tomasi put his run into hyper drive coming off the hill onto the grass to the finish. DeLaSalle's best conceded and fell back exhausted trying to cover Michael's flourish of a finish.

WELL DONE MICHAEL, WELL DONE CHAMPION!

More to come about our teams great efforts.
